Yatra (courtesy: Oxford Dictionary) means “a procession or
pilgrimage, especially one with a religious purpose”.
This ODevC Yatra
(www.odevcyatra.in), that begins tomorrow, is a series of seven events across
seven major cities in India over the course of nine days!
Today I landed in Chennai (my hometown, used to be called
Madras back then) after a nearly 24 hour journey from Los Angeles, California. I am
excited to be participating in this speaking tour – my first ever!
With 35 expert speakers and over 2000 delegates, this 4 track
event in each city is not to be missed. Several of the speakers are Oracle ACEs/ACE Directors,
Oracle Developer Champions and Oracle User Group Evangelists.
Each event is a one-stop shop to gain knowledge on Oracle, listening to experts coming in from around the globe. Knowledge that addresses nuances of Oracle Technology and Applications, that you can take back and apply right away to your work as well as retrain your colleagues.

Organized by the All India Oracle Users Group (www.aioug.org)
and supported by the Oracle Developer Community (community.oracle.com), the
event locations are: Chennai (July 7th), Bengaluru (July 8th),
Ahmedabad (July 10th), Hyderabad (July 11th), Pune (July 13th),
Mumbai (July 14th), and Gurugram (July 15th).
A shout out to the amazing board members and volunteers of
AIOUG, who do an incredible job of organizing such events. This is my second
year speaking at AIOUG events – was in Hyderabad last year for Sangam 17 and I
definitely plan to do so in the years to come.
I plan to blog about each event starting tomorrow. I look
forward to meeting the attendees and keeping the rest of you posted through my
blogs and tweets.
